The End of Another Season - A Blessing in Disguise
Just a quick update about the orchard. It was a rough year for fruit. The high temperatures in February, followed by the Spring frosts, killed all of our Asian pears before they even had a chance to form.
This was a blessing in disguise. As the summer progressed we unexpectedly lost 2 close family members. Additionally we spent months planning and replanning the building of our new home at the orchard. With all of the stress in our lives, the Asian pears may not have had the attention they deserve.
By next year we'll be settled into our new home right on the orchard. We will have a more productive and abundant year.
Nature's blessings never cease to amaze.
