

Lily Pads in the Pond
The last time I was home I put some lily pads in our pond. This pond was once a muddy cow pond. Now it's just muddy. We hope that adding plants like these will help to clean up the water. The lily's are now blooming, and they really do brighten up the pond. We also discovered that our pond is supporting a lot of baby frogs.... I lost count at 896 so I can't tell you exactly how many. It's exciting to see that nature is bringing more creatures into our lives.


Beetles Bags and Boone Street Market - August Update
Yesterday we hit another milestone. Our first dozen or so Asian pears went on sale at the Boone St. Market in Jonesborough, TN. Like a proud new parent, I took my small bundle of delight to them to be weighed and checked in.
